 Not a good idea because this will raise local taxes.  It will only go into feeding the pensions and benefits of the unioned teachers and not go to teaching the students.  We are already heavily ladened with education costs.  It is time they froze their wages like everyone else is doing, and pay into their healthcare. It is out of control.
