Being a veteran retiree, and married to veteran retiree, both of the RI National Guards, I just wanted to thank all those in favor - unanimously, in the Senate for passing this much needed tax exemption for our RI National Guard Retirees Association, of which both me and my husband are members, and I'm the Secretary of the Memorial Committee who had a hand in helping to complete this very needed "Living Memorial" for all of our soldiers and airmen/women of the RI National Guards.

We now are in our last phase of construction in procurring the last detailed item on the Memorial, the Minuteman Statue, and this will be a most developing endeavor to get as it will cost some $70,000. But the tax exemption will help that to come true. It would be a grand finale to our "Living Memorial", thank you.
