    Fascists!

Recipe for reducing the amount of rental housing available and making it more costly for tenants: Make landlords jump through.

    Totalists.

Actually, I think a better word would be Totalists. Fascism is (more or less) equivalent to Nationalism on steroids. Socialists wish to take the means of production and redistribute to the community. But this law doesn't seek to redistribute, just to control, and fits the definition of Totalitarianism. "Totalitarianism (or totalitarian rule) is a concept used to describe political systems where a state regulates nearly every aspect of public and private life," from Wikipedia. The chains of slavery are forged one by one.

Re: 2008 House Bill 7030 (property law)

You know why it's limited to Providence and Warwick. That's because the politicians have the money and power to buy properties elsewhere like Coventry and Barrington; it's the working slobs that own the lower properties and try to make the best of what we got that they attack. Just like the Congressional leaders in Washington DC; always passing legislation which doesn't apply or pertain to them. They have the caviar and lobster health care plan, and give us the hot dog and bean alternative, which we MUST buy into or face imprisionment and fines. Our legislators have learned well from the dark side.
